WExEd An editor and Player

The Webalt Exercise Editor (WExEd) has been created as part of the WebALT project. The editor task is to assist authors in creating multilingual and multistep mathematics exercises.  These exercises can adapt to the skills and knowledge of the students through means of multiple interactive steps. But they can also be played in several different languages, like English, Spanish, Italian, French, Catalan and Swedish.

Except for an editor, WExEd also contains a player in order to test the exercises. This player is also available as a standalone version, capable of playing LeActiveMath and WebALT exercises. The WExEd editor and player both strongly relate to the MathdoxPlayer and MathdoxEditor. Both editor and player where designed to run inside the WebALT portal, but can also be run as stand alone servlets. Please refer to the architecture page for more information.
